Very Pretty Oval Glass Pearls with Round Quartz Disk. OK, I'm not usually stingy with components for my pieces, but I'm going to make very few with these quartz disks. In a picture, it's difficult to catch the interesting beauty of these disks. They can really be appreciated by holding them up to the light. Each one is different—over a million years old. It is agate-like inasmuch as the green color in the quartz is flora from prehistoric times captured for us to see now. If you think about it, these quartz disks are original "snapshots," with the snapshot subjects frozen in them. But I digress. This is an unassuming set (the earrings are fine pieces on their own), and in its simplicity its magnificence shines. Choker length at 16"
